Eight-week live cohort for traders who want a structured framework for entering established trends after flags, pullbacks, and breakout retests.

Who this is for

Retail and independent traders who already read charts but lack a consistent method for entering trends mid-move. Finance graduates preparing for desk roles who need hands-on flag and pullback marking practice. Participants must either complete Chart Reading Fundamentals or pass a brief chart marking assessment at enrolment.

What you will learn

  • Classify markets as trending, ranging, or transitioning before searching for setups
  • Mark bull and bear flags, pennants, and horizontal consolidations on daily and four-hour charts
  • Enter on breakout retests rather than initial breakout candles
  • Place stops beyond structural invalidation levels with a defined buffer
  • Calculate measured-move targets and partial profit rules for continuation trades
  • Maintain a continuation-focused trade journal with setup grading

Program structure

Weeks 1–2: Trend classification and swing mapping. Students mark twenty historical charts and classify each as uptrend, downtrend, or range.

Weeks 3–4: Flag and pennant identification. Live markup of VN30, S&P e-mini, and EUR/USD charts. Debate on ambiguous consolidations.

Weeks 5–6: Pullback entries and breakout retests. Entry trigger rules, stop placement, and position sizing exercises using your account parameters.

Weeks 7–8: Trade management and journal review. Bring your own trades for instructor feedback. Final assessment: mark five current charts and present one continuation thesis to the cohort.
